It was a case of history repeating itself at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship over the weekend. After going toe-to-toe with the European Tour’s best golfers, Matthew Fitzpatrick came out on top to secure a cool $3 million pay day for the second time in his career.

But there was more than just this tournament going on, as it also marked the completion of the Race to Dubai – the tour’s order of merit. For the third time in his career and 20 years on from his first, Lee Westwood reigned supreme and demonstrated his ability to keep up with the new crop of golfers on the scene. Maybe he has another Ryder Cup left him in yet?
